Welcome

I hope you enjoy my art.  It springs from my view of God's creations.  When I'm inspired by something special, I save it somewhere in my being.  Later, I unpack this treasure and express it on canvas.  It could be tangible like a flower, a landscape or one of God's creatures.  Other times, it is more of a feeling that is translated onto the canvas.

This painting was inspired by a trip to East Africa.  It was thrilling to see the lion prides roaming the plains of the Serengeti -- content and free.  I hope you enjoy my Lion of Judah as much as I loved painting it.

Some photos of lions from my trip to Kenya and Tanzania. These creatures were amazingly relaxed as we drove by.  The young sleeping lion never opened his eyes!
